is a leading national "Qualified Intermediary" for
IRS Section 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges of investment property.
Since our establishment in 1990, we have successfully facilitated
over 125,000 exchanges. In addition to offering extensive
experience on all types of exchanges, API provides one of
the most secure programs for holding exchange funds. Our security
features include:
- The
financial strength of Stewart Title Company. A written "Letter
of Assurance" from Stewart Title Company can be
provided to investors who select API;
- A separate
Qualified Exchange Account is established for each Exchanger.
The Exchanger may require a notarized signature for the
movement of funds - a security feature that assures exchange
funds are moved only at the direction of the Exchanger;
and
- Each
exchange transaction is facilitated by a team of highly
specialized experts in the §1031 tax deferred exchange
field.
