What is BAWB?

"BAWB" Bay Area Wealth builders is an educational and networking association. BAWB's objective is to assist experienced and beginning Real Estate investors in acquiring practical knowledge of Real Estate investment concepts through education, discussion and networking.

Who are BAWB’s members?

BAWB's membership consists of people from all walks of life. Some are full-time investors, while others are part-time investors with a separate full-time job. Others still are beginning investors, seeking the knowledge that will enable them to make their first investment or acquire their first home or property. One common bond among our members is a desire to grow in knowledge and experience, and a willingness to share their experiences with others.

Why should I join BAWB?

Being a member of BAWB is all about education and learning from each other and the experts. BAWB is dedicated to featuring only the best National and Local entrepreneurs and educational speakers in order to keep us informed on up-to-date Real Estate investing trends, innovations, laws and techniques. In addition, where else can you network with "hands on" active investors that are willing to share their knowledge and experience? If you are considering the world of Real Estate investing, you owe it to yourself to become a member of BAWB.

What if I don't have any real estate experience?

Not a problem. As many of BAWB's members are new to Real Estate and Real Estate investing, no doubt you will discover that other members share your interest and desire to learn more about Real Estate, its unique investment potential, and how to become a successful Real Estate investor. To meet your needs, BAWB also offers a diverse schedule of events tailored to the educational needs of the beginning investor. Additionally, you will find that experienced investors are eager to offer advice and insight to further assist you on the road to success.

What does a membership cost?

As of January 2022 - Annual New membership dues are $270.00 for an individual and $400.00 for a couple. There is a $30.00 discount off the annual dues provided to Renewing members. These memberships include a membership for an individual and if a couple; his/her spouse or parent/child. However, if you are not sure you want to join immediately, you can attend our LIVE in person meetings as a guest for the initial introductory program fee cost of only $20.00 per person as we restart our LIVE IN PERSON EVENTS (however these program fees will > Increase again to $35.00) per attendee as a program fee in the future. This fee helps us offset the cost of the equipment and room rental / venue. Should you decide to join that evening, you will receive your $20.00 (or $35.00) program fee credited toward your annual membership. However you MUST must join THE EVENING of the meeting to receive the credit.

Do I need a real estate license?

No. You do not need a Real Estate license to buy, sell, or rent property that you have an ownership (a/k/a "equitable") interest in. You just need the desire and correct education to confidently get it done. So what are you waiting for? Come check us out!

Are meals served during the monthly BAWB meetings?

No. The BAWB monthly meeting is an informal gathering where no food or beverages are provided. Many of our attendees plan to grab a bite to eat prior to the meeting or afterwards. There are  plenty of dining options located close to the meeting facility that one can either walk to, or are a short drive away.
